Battersea Community Champion!

On Tuesday 24 October I was delighted to win a Battersea Community Champion Award, as founder of Chocolate Films.

The MP for Battersea, Marsha de Cordova invited all of the community leaders from Battersea to come to together at the Jubilee Room, in the Houses of Parliament to celebrate 11 winners and some commendations for the Battersea Community Champions Award Ceremony

Delicious food was served and Marsha presented glass trophies to the winners. 

Chocolate Films the Corporate Outreach Award for its extensive work engaging with young people to provide them with skills and training in filmmaking from our base at Nine Elms Studio.

Other winners included Betsy at  Nine Elms Arts Ministry, Hannah from Battersea Power station choir, Hadas from Waste Not Want Not, Providence House, and Elizabeth Odonno of Odonno Gelato.
